All
cooked and oven-roasted turkey products from House of Raeford are
ready to serve. However, they are perishable and require refrigeration
if not used immediately.
Raefords oven-roasted products will retain their peak quality
and freshness for up to 4-6 weeks from date of manufacture if refrigerated
at 32-36° F with the package intact.
Smoked and cured deli products have a refrigerated shelf life of up
to 10 weeks when kept at 36-40° F with package intact. |

Products |

Raeford
products are available frozen so they can retain their peak quality
and freshness for a longer time. If kept frozen at 0° F, they
can be stored without loss of quality for up to 9 months. Frozen products
should be thawed in their original package in the refrigerator, which
may take several days depending on size of product and refrigerator
temperature. Thawed products should be kept refrigerated. Unopened
products can be kept refrigerated at 36-40° F for up to 1 week.
Once the package is opened, product should be used as soon as possible. |

28-32°
F is the ideal temperature range for maximum shelf life and maintaining
the prime quality of your chicken. At temperatures above 34° F,
chicken will lose flavor and texture, and shelf life is reduced. Below
28° F is too cold. Chicken will become "hard frozen"
and lose quality. |
