Michael Teachey has been with House of Raeford since 2003 and currently serves the company as General Manager of the Foods Division. From a sales and marketing perspective, he was instrumental in the transition as the company exited the turkey business in 2013 and moved to a complete focus on ready-to-cook and further processed chicken products.
Under Michael’s marketing leadership, the Cooked Products division has grown customer relationships in Foodservice, Retail, National Accounts, Institutional, Commercial, Schools, and USDA Commodity Processing sales. Previous to joining House of Raeford, he spent 18 years with Proctor & Gamble in a variety of sales and operations capacities. He is a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill with a BA in economics. On a personal side, Michael along with his wife and daughter support the community in several ways, including welcoming Marines from nearby Camp Lejeune to an annual Thanksgiving dinner in their home.
