LOCATION:       Filet of Chicken – Forest Park, GA

DEPARTMENT: PAR FRY, IQF, DSI, DB20, XRAY, & HAND PACKING

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Line Workers and Floor Support Workers are responsible for the producing of chicken products based on customers’ specifications.

PRIMARY DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Line Workers: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while styling, sorting, aligning, and packing poultry products from a moving conveyor. Remove parts such as cartilage, bones, or fat from the meat. Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes. Use of both hands and standing during all working hours. Some reaching, twisting, pulling and hand/finger manipulation at times.  Able to rotate through different areas of the department.  Must be willing to be cross-trained and move to other areas when needed. Ability to lift – up to 50 lbs, and work on weekends as needed. Ability to work in cold and wet environment.
  • Floor Support Workers: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Equipment assembly. Supply the line with product while shoveling or dumping meat into a moving conveyor. Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes. Use of both hands and standing during all working hours. Some reaching, twisting, pulling and hand/finger manipulation at times.  Able to rotate through different areas of the department.  Must be willing to be cross-trained and move to other areas when needed. Ability to lift – up to 50 lbs, and work on weekends as needed. Ability to work in cold and wet environment.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Preferably, poultry background, however, is not required. Warehouse and production experience would be great.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: No specific education required.
