HOUSE OF RAEFORD EMPLOYEES SPREAD THE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS THIS HOLIDAY SEASON

This holiday season, House of Raeford Farms locations have made a point to spread holiday cheer and give back to their communities. We are proud of our employees in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Louisiana for embodying House of Raeford Farms FLOCK values and helping those less fortunate.

FLOCK donated nearly 50,000 pounds of chicken to the Children’s Restoration Network in the Atlanta area, Miracle Hill Ministries and From God to You in Greenville, South Carolina, and Word of Faith Ministries in Duplin County, North Carolina. FLOCK also made a monetary donation to support Angel Trees at two Duplin County, North Carolina schools — Rose Hill-Magnolia Elementary School and Wallace Elementary School.

“We are so humbled by the generosity in giving to our families this Christmas season,” said Christa Mobley, school social worker at Rose Hill-Magnolia Elementary. “We extend a big thank you to House of Raeford for their generous donation to purchase items for some of our Angel Tree kids.”

At Johnson Breeders in Rose Hill, North Carolina employees supported the Hat & Mitten Drive, sponsored by Duplin County 4-H club, to provide warm clothing for area children.

In Mocksville, North Carolina, House of Raeford donated 175 cases of chicken nuggets, breaded filets and non-breaded strips to various churches and nonprofit organizations to help families that may not have access to food this holiday season.

In Greenville, South Carolina, employees donated gifts to support nearly 20 foster children as part of the Miracle Hill Ministries Angel Tree. Greenville also supported several local Christmas meal programs with chicken product donations.

At Filet of Chicken in Georgia, employees ran a Christmas toy drive to support Grady Hospital social services, collecting toys, clothing and non-perishable foods. Filet of Chicken also donated 350 turkeys to a variety of local food pantries.

In Arcadia, Louisiana, House of Raeford employees held a canned food drive to benefit Christian Community Action serving those in need in the area. Employees also collected peanut butter and jelly to provide to children who normally receive free lunches at school and may not be able to eat lunch over the holiday break.

Arcadia also donated 160 whole chickens to a local food bank and implemented a stocking stuffer program to collect gifts for children through the Court Appointed Special Advocate Association.

We are incredibly proud of all our employees and their immense generosity this holiday season. We firmly believe a company that does well should also do good, and we are honored that our employees feel the same way.

From our house to yours, may you have a Merry Christmas and a happy holiday season.
