House of Raeford Farms Donates Over 2,200 Thanksgiving Turkeys

House of Raeford Farms, with corporate offices in Rose Hill, NC, has reached out to
organizations in North Carolina and South Carolina and donated over 2,200 turkeys to help those
in need enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal.

Through House of Raeford Farms F.L.O.C.K., a non-profit outreach ministry, over 20,000
pounds of turkey has been distributed to local food banks, churches, military installations, and
other ministries providing cooked meals and food baskets to low income and homeless
individuals and families. With economic conditions as they are in our country, this year has been
a particularly difficult time for many. The requests for assistance have certainly been on the
increase.

“F.L.O.C.K. endeavors to honor the Godly principle of providing care to the hungry and thirsty”,
said Curtis Carr, Director of Community Outreach for the company. “We try to responsibly
distribute our resources to help meet these needs through worthwhile local organizations with
likeminded objectives.”

“We are constantly amazed at the number of caring people in our communities who provide aid
to others who are less fortunate”, Carr continued. “It truly blesses us to be a partner in their
efforts”.
